CARRY NATION

Carry Nation's ghost
Tossed a drunken apparition
From a haunted saloon
Out into the Topeka streets.

With a hatchet in her hand,
The six-foot ghost, broke every bottle
In the haunted saloon.
A sad eyed ghost fell to his knees

Licking the spirits on the floor.
A transparent tongue lapping up
What Carry Nation destroyed
As her laughter roared like a thunderclap.
